Leopard Rest Camp, Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda

Horseback Riding

Unique experience!!!

We have just introduced a super new activity on our activity board, horseback riding in Uganda, at Leopard Rest Camp.  Horseback riding at the border of Lake Mburo National Park.

The National Park is not fenced; you also find wild animals rooming free outside the park, this gives you the unique possibility to ride on a horse between the zebra´s and the famous iconic long horn Ankole cows.

It gives you probably a unique possibility to see different kinds of birds, elands, antelopes, warthogs and many more, please note, it all depends on the time of the day and where the animals are that time, and you can spot even leopard.

Our horses are very well trained, friendly, they love riding around the nature while watching their cousin’s zebra´s and they are friendly with all wild animals.
Your local guides are very experienced with horses and they always have good relation with their clients.

Our rides offers
30 min
1 hour
1.5 hour
2 hour
2.5 hour
3 hour

Our rides start’s any time of the day, as early as 6.30 am at sunrise and finish at 7 pm at sunset.
Both sunset and sunrise are among the best moments of the day you won’t like to miss while on a horseback.

You don’t have to be an experienced rider, even if you have never been on a horse before, this is the opportunity.
If you do have (any) experience, you will love it here so much.

We can’t guarantee you sun, we can’t guarantee you to see all the wild animals you might anticipated, but we do guarantee you unique nature and amazing views.

Price for this experience is in US dollar.
$ 20 per person for half an hour,
1 hour is $ 40
1,5 hours is $ 60 and so on.

For more information about the riding, please do check us on Facebook page ……., mail ……. or phone … .us.
