Leopard Rest Camp, Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda

Game Drives

See it all with our half-day safari game drive in Lake Mburo National Park! No really, you can see almost the whole park. Lake Mburo hosts 68 mammal and 350 bird species in high concentration.  We highly recommend also doing the optional boat ride so you don’t miss the hippos, crocodiles, and the prime bird viewing from the water.

Check out our Activity Prices page for more details.

Lake Mburo is home to between 40 and 50 Leopards. The best chance to spot them is in the evening/night as they prepare for hunting.  Also the possibility to see other nocturnal animals, such as bush babies, genet cat, civit cat, serval cat, hyena and nocturnal birds.

As this is nature and not a zoo, there is no guarantee of spotting a leopard, but doing a night game drive has the highest odds, and the experience of cruising through the park after dark is a thrill in itself!
